Some snippets from Boston’s diary and life18-4-05 FISHING DAYSHi Jan – just thought I’d let you know of a near drama we had with Boston last week. He swallowed a fishing hook which lodged in his oesophagus. I have no idea where the hook came from but looked up from mowing the lawn and saw Boston with a fishing reel dangling from his mouth. Luckily our local vet is very good and he managed to remove the hook and attached 3 metres of line with the aid of a endoscope and several x rays. The moral I quess is Clumbers will eat anything and Boston’s fishing days have ended before they even began! UPDATE 20-10-2006Boston is doing fine. He has changed soccer clubs and is now the unofficial mascot of the Bangor Brumbies. We spent the last week in Mudgee where Boston had a great time barking at kangaroos, helping kids fish for yabbies and generally gambolling around |
